Saudi Arabia: The contract for the supply of the rolling stock to the national operator SAR has been signed between the Spanish manufacturer and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services.
Germany: On 2 February, a pair of three-car Coradia Continental (Series 1440.4) units was running in multiple on the 81 km line between Leipzig and Chemnitz for the first time.
Japan: Ten-car Series 2000 sets began carrying passengers at the end of January in Japan's capital region on 1.5 kV DC line with the non-standard 1,372 mm gauge.

UK: The upgraded Class 230 train has begun passenger operations on the 4-km Greenfield–West Ealing line in west London.
India: An eight-car trainset modernised by national operator Indian Railways has begun carrying passengers in the country’s Western region. Prior to this, it covered more than 2,000 km during testing.
Germany: The technology was trialled at the Steinhausen depot in Munich, owned by national operator Deutsche Bahn.
Türkiye: The eight-car trainset with aluminium bodyshell has been manufactured at the state-owned manufacturer’s plant in Sakarya.
Uzbekistan: This was revealed by Petr Novotný, CEO of the Czech manufacturer, in an interview with Hospodářské noviny.
