Poland: The management board of a repair plant belonging to the US railcar manufacturing holding has announced its closure, resulting in the dismissal of 161 people late in October.
According to Stadler, its American subsidiary currently generates between 70% and 80% of value added in the US in accordance with the requirements of the Buy America Act.
India: The system has been installed on a WAP-7 electric locomotive produced by national operator Indian Railways.
Indonesia: In July, the first batch of 13 GT38AC locomotives arrived from the plant in Muncie, United States, at the depot in Bandar Lampung.

USA: The American manufacturer introduced a new technology, the EVO Advantage, for the overhaul of Evolution series locomotive engines that comply with Tier 3 and Tier 4 emission standards.
The Swiss manufacturer reported this in its financial results for the first half of 2025. The company also noted that it accounts for half of all battery-powered or hydrogen-powered trains ordered in Europe.
Belarus: A number of local media have made public the information about the upcoming agreement, but Stadler’s representative has given a comment, saying that the parties did not reach a deal.
USA: A fleet of five eleven-car Acela II trainsets has commenced operation on the route connecting Boston, New York and Washington, D.C., from 28 August.
