Russia, China: A contract was signed last year for the development and production of a prototype and the start of serial production.
Romania: The five-car low-floor tram arrived in the city on Saturday, 18 May.
Russia: As Delovoy Petersburg media quotes a presentation by Andrey Stepnov, CEO of the TMH plant in Mytishchi, which he gave at SPbTransportFest, an international transport festival in St Petersburg.
Germany, Egypt: The four-car trainset was presented on the Wegberg-Wildenrath test facility.
Iran: The prototype MP610 diesel engine has been presented during a visit by two Iranian ministers to the Mapna Group’s plant in Fardis.
Spain: The first ten AVE trains have commenced operation between Madrid and Galicia and Asturias. These are the world’s first variable gauge trains with a max speed of 330 km/h. The prototype was unveiled in 2012, and the delivery was delayed by more than 3 years.
Austria: OBB-Infrastruktur, an Austrian infrastructure subsidiary of OBB, has placed an order with the Swiss manufacturer for 18 such trains with a total value of €230 mln.
Sierra Leone: A batch of ten locomotives for a 1,067 mm gauge line was delivered to the African mining company Leone Rock Metal Group.
