Russia: This was announced by Artem Ovelyan, CEO of the plant, in his recent interview.

“If the last year resulted in sales of 1,122 coaches and cars, this year we plan to deliver 1,319 coaches and cars”, his company’s Telegram channel quoted him as saying. The announced targets for 2024 mean a year-on-year increase of 18%. Artem Ovelyan highlights that the production plan includes 84 modifications of passenger rolling stock.

According to him, the production of the Ivolga EMUs is expected to grow significantly, “Almost one third of our output accounts for these trains”. The purchase plans of the plant’s coaches were also announced by RZD last week. The Russian national operator expects to receive 550 passenger coaches this year, of which 396 are single-deck and 154 double-deck.
