Spain: The manufacturer started testing the first four-car T100 at the plant in Albuixech, Spain, with the trials of another partially double-deck eight-car T200 to follow soon.

The approval is to be received next year, when the mass production is planned to begin, with a delivery rate of two per month.

Renfe ordered 24 T100 and 55 T200 EMUs worth €1.3 bln under the contract, signed in March 2021, and an option of December 2022. The vehicles are designed to operate at a maximum speed of 140 km/h on the 1,668 m gauge lines.
