India: The four-car vehicle is co-produced with the Malaysian SMH Rail Group at the Telangana-based Medha Servo Drives plant.
Following dynamic tests, it will be launched on the 21 km Chembur–Sant Ghadge Maharaj line.
The rail contract was concluded with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority in 2021, providing for the delivery of ten such EMUs for INR 5.9 bln ($79.6 mln).

When compared to the currently operating in Mumbai monorail trains by the Malaysian Scomi Rail, the new vehicles are several tonnes lighter, have a 10% higher passenger capacity (568 people per four-car train), and are fitted with signalling and traction systems and improved bogies.
