India: The news has appeared on social network accounts of the ADJ Engineering company, an Indian partner of the Russian manufacturer.

TVEMA is expected to deliver eight track inspection systems and four overhead catenary inspection systems based on AI technologies. Besides, four OHE & pantograph interaction measurement systems and two pantograph current collection performance measurement systems will be supplied to Mumbai. The equipment will be produced in accordance with the localisation requirements of the national programme Make in India.

In 2022, Maksim Tarabrin, Deputy Director General for business development of TVEMA, gave an interview to ROLLINGSTOCK. He spoke about the company’s contract with the Indian Railways for the supply of the Integrated Track Monitoring Systems (ITMS), pointing out TVEMA’s intent to market the ITMS further.

Today, the Indian metro market is one of the fastest growing, with more than 15% share of all new metro systems being introduced in the world, according to SCI Verkehr’s estimates.
