India: The company has unveiled renderings of the proposed exterior and interior of trains to be built for national operator Indian Railways.
The prototypes of the train with an operating speed of 160 km/h are expected in 2025.
The published renderings suggest that the front end of the Vande Bharat sleeper has a distinct appearance compared to the current model. Kinet Railway Solutions has also presented interior designs for non-compartment three-tier cars.

The trains are designed and built under one of the largest contracts in the world signed last autumn. Kinet is expected to supply 120 EMUs of 1,920 cars, all of them built in India, and provide rolling stock maintenance service over 35 years. The total value of the deal might reach $6.5 bln.
