Poland: The manufacturer has delivered 60 second-class compartment coaches to the Polish state operator.
The vehicles have improved interiors and WCs, new air conditioning system, information boards and automatic doors. Their bogies have been replaced with quieter ones, and the trains can now reach 160 km/h.
FPS is overhauling the trains under a 2022 contract worth almost PLN 0.5 bln (€115.5 mln) and is also preparing to start work on the largest order in Poland’s history for 300 new passenger coaches, which it has recently won.
