The second lot is for five EMUs with a maximum price of RUB 5.5 bln (€57 mln) or RUB 99.4 mln (€1 mln) per car. Each car is expected to be equipped with a passenger counting system, four LCD screens in addition to screens at each exit, and higher class seats.
The third lot is for three trains with a maximum price of RUB 3.1 bln (€32 mln) or RUB 93.6 mln (€0.97 mln) per car. These trains will be identical to those of the first lot, with the exception of a lift for disabled passengers.
The results of these tenders are scheduled to be announced on 6 December, with the rolling stock to be delivered in batches until the end of 2025. Earlier, the Demikhovo Engineering Works, part of TMH, Russia, was a supplier under similar CEPC tenders.
