Bar car renderings unveiled for high-speed EMUs on Vegas-to-LA rail line

USA: Brightline West, the operator company of the project, published sketches of the preliminary interior design.

The car will have varied seating options and day and night lighting. The interior is designed specifically for the trains to carry passengers to one of the largest entertainment centres in the world.

Siemens Mobility showed the video with the identical interior when presenting the American Pioneer 220 train for another high-speed line in California, US. On the 1st May, the company was designated the “preferred bidder”, while the winner of the second tender has not been selected yet.

Brightline West announced the construction of the Vegas-to-LA rail line on the 22nd April. It will span 350 km, reaching an average speed of 185 km/h and a maximum speed of 320 km/h, with trains travelling every 45 minutes.
