France: The six-car train started trial operation in semi-automatic mode on the first section of Line 15, which will serve all the Paris suburbs.

The purpose of the trial run is to evaluate the operation of the rolling stock, including acceleration and braking.

The contract to supply 25 such vehicles for Line 15 was signed in 2018. The train presentation took place at Alstom’s plant in autumn 2022. The 108 m six-car trainset can accommodate up to 1,000 passengers, 200 of them seated. Its operating speed is 55–66 km/h, with maximum speed of 100 km/h. The train is equipped with a technical diagnostic system.

The first 33 km section of Line 15 is expected to open in late 2025, and the entire 75 km route in 2030. Trains will run every two minutes.
