Ukraine: According to the national operator, the 19-8005-U hopper wagon for the transport of grain and other bulk food has been produced at its own facilities.
With a payload of 70 t and an axle load of 23.5 tf, it has a body with a volume of 104 m3 and five loading and six unloading hatches. The designed speed is 120 km/h.

Most of the components of this hopper are said to be Ukrainian-made. “Further, we plan to put such wagons into serial production”, said Yevgeny Lyaschenko, head of the board of directors of the national operator. In May 2019, Ukrainian Railway released its first ever 19-6938 grain wagon with a body volume of 120 m³.
Earlier this month, the Kryukiv Railway Car Building Works has certified its 1,435 mm 80-foot Sggrss platform to the TSI requirements.
