India: A video of the tests was shared by the country’s Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw. The minister stated that the trials are being conducted on the tracks of the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.
Denmark: The two-car Mireo Plus B trainset has entered passenger service on a low-traffic line between Lemvig and Thyborøn.
Belgium: Despite pressure from Alstom and Siemens Mobility, the national operator SNCB has once again selected the Spanish manufacturer as its preferred supplier.
France: The seven-car low-floor Urbos 100X was unveiled at the depot of the French city’s operator Régie des Transports Métropolitains.
Guinea: A total of 10 ballast hoppers, 10 container flatcars, four passenger coaches, and one luggage carriage have been produced for the 135 km Kamsar–Sangarédi line with a track gauge of 1,435 mm.
USA: The coaches were moved from the Sacramento plant to the Transportation Technology Center operated by ENSCO in Pueblo for year-long trials.
Philippines: Since the middle of July, a set of three three-car tram-trains has started operation on Manila’s MRT-3 metro line of 16.9 km. Another six vehicles are in the final phase of testing.
Uzbekistan: The two-section O’Z12T locomotive produced at the Zhuzhou plant was presented at Navoi station.
India: The order has been officially confirmed by India’s Ministry of Railways. The ministry noted that trains of this series will be introduced concurrently in both Japan and India.
