Russia: The Scientific and Technical Council of the Russian national operator discussed the current status of the project, as reported by Gudok.
A GoA3 train is scheduled to start operation on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) by August 4th of this year, with a driver in the cab in case of an emergency. The train refurbishment, which ensures operation with three-minute intervals, is expected to be completed in 2025.
Commuter trains of other series are scheduled to be equipped with a GoA3 system between 2026 and 2027. A GoA4 train will be certified in 2026 after replacing imported components with domestic ones and obtaining approval for the final version of the unified technological process, a special regulatory document required by Russian legislation. Construction of the unmanned infrastructure will begin in 2027–2028.
