EU: Since the beginning of the year, the manufacturer has been awarded contracts with various European customers for the delivery of about 300 Vectron locomotives of different modifications.
Romania: Alstom was awarded a contract for the delivery and maintenance of 20 trains by ARF. Initially, the tender was won by CRRC, but its application was rejected by the Bucharest court, although the company has even produced and certified the train.
Mexico: The railcar producer has completed a shift of production from the US to Mexico, that resulted in significant cost savings as production level rises. Now Freight Car America continues to scale up new production.
India: The NCRTC operator unveiled the head car of the first electric train. The level of its localisation in accordance with the Make in India program must exceed 80%.
USA: The manufacturer is working on a rail milling machine powered by batteries and a diesel engine. The vehicle is to be delivered to Plasser's US subsidiary this summer.
Belarus: The manufacturer notes that this is a forced measure, as the site will face a shortage of electronic and electrical products due to EU sanctions against Belarus amid the situation in Ukraine.
UK: A mock-up of the head car was shown at the Siemens Mobility plant in Goole. It is planned to produce 47 Inspiro trains at the site, but the implementation of the contract depends on the prospects for public funding.
Russia: Ural Locomotives received EU certificate for the relevant assembly technology, and also initiated the development of a domestic standard as part of the UIRE standardization program.
USA: In first years, the site will produce metro cars in order to deliver it to Washington. The volume of investments should be to $70 mln USD.
