Tanzania: The trainset, consisting of an electric locomotive by Hyundai Rotem and passenger coaches by Sung Shin RST, has made its inaugural test run.
India: The inaugural Vande Bharat Metro has been built by Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala, a coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways.
France, USA: Kevin Speed, a private operator, and Brightline West, a HSR line operator, plan to contract the manufacturers in the nearest future.
Russia: On 2 May, the inaugural 11-car EMU from TMH commenced commercial service on the Moscow Central Diameter 4, part of the Russian capital's urban rail.
Spain: Currently, the train is undergoing static tests at the plant in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain, where another two vehicles are being assembled.
USA: The interior design renderings have been released by the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) which is responsible for the Merced–Bakersfield high-speed rail line.
Russia: On 26 April, first passengers took on their journey on board the upgraded train, now consisting of 19 new and overhauled coaches in a renewed livery.
South Korea: On 1st May, two eight-car trainsets commenced passenger service on high-speed lines Gyeongbu and Honam, with 17 trainsets more scheduled for entry into service by 2027.
USA: Brightline West, the operator company of the project, published sketches of the preliminary interior design.
