Italy: The manufacturer demonstrated the assembly of Vulcano rail grinders and DHS hopper batchers at its plant in Fano. In addition, the published video showcased the operation of this rolling stock.
The company’s backlog includes two types of grinders: Vulcano Heavy and Vulcano Light. The first one is designed to renew rail track profile and turnout switches on main lines and metro; the second one operates exclusively on metro lines. The trains are fitted with grinding stones with an adjustable tilt angle.

The self-propelled DHS hopper batchers are produced with two traction systems, diesel and battery-diesel hybrid. The rolling stock for transporting bulk goods can operate in multiple from two to twelve cars.
In the beginning of the year, SRT has acquired Italian Colmar Technik, another supplier of track machines, including railcar movers, excavators and loaders.
