The track stabiliser is part of the new Compact series. It has a maximum axle load of 15 tf and is marketed for servicing narrow-gauge and metro lines. The series also provides tamping machines and ballast profiling machines. It is reported to possibly produce vehicles for gauges from 1,000 to 1,676 mm and with different types of traction systems.
Last year, the Taiwan Railway Corporation ordered 41 vehicles of this series to be supplied in 2025–2026. Another Unimat Compact 08-275/3S-16 has also been recently sent to Hong Kong.
