Sweden: According to the Railcare manufacturer, the second-generation Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV2) can remove up to 40 m³ of gravel per hour and also function as a locomotive for snow clearing machines, excavators, and other track machines.
Austria: The conversion conducted by mZERO, an engineering consultancy in Austria, has resulted in replacing the 122kW engine of the MAN X534 track machine with hydrogen fuel cells of the same power produced by Accelera (part of Cummins, USA).
