Russia: The obtained TR EAEU 001/2011 certificate of conformity for serial production is valid till June 2029. The train has a design service life of 30 years.
According to the manufacturer, the production of the SZ-M1200 material handling trainset was launched at the Ulyanovsk plant in 2022. The vehicle serves to automatically collect, transport and offload granular materials with particle sizes of up to 100 mm. The trainset is used in conjunction with different kinds of cleaning vehicles, including ballast cleaning machines and complexes, ditch cleaning and digging machines.

The SZ-M1200 includes two modules each consisting of five gondola cars for accumulating materials and one end car. The trainset has a payload of 1,000 t and is equipped with two power units with an overall capacity of 630 kW. It is designed to operate at a speed of 80 km/h.

The manufacturer has signed a three-year agreement with Russian Railways for the supply of seven such trainsets. This year, two vehicles of the batch are to be delivered to Irkutsk.
