Germany: The Federal Railway Authority has issued a certificate of conformity for the class 745.0 GAF self-propelled track motor car supplied by French manufacturer Geismar.
The four-axle class 745.0 GAF unit is designed for transporting equipment and materials as well as performing a range of operations during infrastructure rebuilding and maintenance works. It was ordered by infrastructure manager DB InfraGo to support the large-scale renewal of Germany’s railway network. The track motor car was designed and manufactured at Geismar’s facility in Poviglio, Italy.
