Fitted with a pneumatic blowing system, the SS-POM combines the functions of two machines, providing high-speed track clearing along with blowing snow out of the inter-rail space and fastening elements. The manufacturer states that it can clear snow cover up to 1.5 m high and 6 m wide at a working speed of 80 km/h.
The machine was first certified by the Tulazheldormash plant (part of PTK Group) in spring 2022. Its output is 90,000 m³/h, and it is operated by a crew of two. The SS-POM is equipped with an automated fire-suppression system, variable-geometry pneumatic blowing, and a folding automatic coupler controlled from the cab. The side wing has a reach of up to 3 m from the track axis, and the clearing side can be changed.

According to Tulazheldormash’s reporting, 14 such machines were sold in 2022-2025. Over that period, the unit price rose by 82% – from RUB 87.6 mln to RUB 159.4 mln (from $1.06 mln to $1.9 mln) excluding VAT.
