Spain: On 12 June, the new mainline electric locomotive was unveiled at the manufacturer’s site in Valencia. At the end of the year, the rolling stock is due to undergo testing at the VUZ Velim test centre in Czechia.

India: US-based freight car builder has acquired a 32% stake in the joint venture Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing. The company was established in 2011 by Texmaco Rail, one of India's largest freight wagon manufacturers, and Touax Group.
