Germany: The result came during testing of a two-car battery-electric Civity-platform train at the Wegberg-Wildenrath test track in Germany.
UK: In late August, the nine-car British Class 345 train from the new batch was put in commercial service on the 117 km Elizabeth line.
India: The country's largest private rolling stock manufacturer Titagarh Rail Systems (TRSL) brought a large stand to the show in New Delhi that takes part from 9 to 11 September.
Germany: The manufacturer says its AutomatedTrain research project has confirmed the technical feasibility of running trains at the highest automation level, GoA4, on open rail infrastructure.
Philippines: Photos of the eight-car train being unloaded at the port of Manila were shared by the Department of Transportation, the customer for the rolling stock.
Russia: Sinara Group has announced the start of testing for the dual-system ES105P Finist Premium electric train. Photos of the train arriving at the VNIIZhT experimental track in Shcherbinka were also posted by the Magistral. Kuvalda Telegram channel.
France: The first four-car battery-electric train began carrying passengers in France's Sud region at the end of July, and a month later a second, three-car unit entered service in Occitanie.
Bulgaria: The first two trains began running on four intercity routes from 1 September. The network will grow as more units enter service.
Romania: The three-car SFEMU-EU01 electric train entered service on the Bucharest–Brașov route in mid-August, operated by Astra Trans, a subsidiary of railcar builder Astra Vagoane.
