Russia: A tripartite agreement for the supply of 41 trains for the Moscow–Saint Petersburg high-speed railway (HSR) has been concluded.
Russia: This objective is included into the plant’s (a subsidiary of Sinara – Transport Machines, STM, Russia) investment plan presented at the conference that took place at the Ural Locomotives site.
Russia: According to the national operator, the contract is worth RUB 12 bln (USD 128.2 mln).
Russia: The plans were announced by Ivan Kolesnikov, Deputy Manager Director of Russian Railways, at the final meeting of the board of the national operator.
Russia: The Commercial Court of the Sverdlovsk region registered the claim and published it in the Commercial Case File on Monday. There is no information on the substance of the claim or court hearings.
Russia: At the end of December, the first five-car train entered service on a route between Ekaterinburg and the town of Kamensk-Uralsky, Russia. Under the current contract, Russian Railways is to receive 22 such trains, 12 of which in 2023 and 10 this year.
Russia: Certification to TR EAEU 001/2011 requirements will be valid for five years until November 2028.
Russia: A train operator controlled two Lastochka EMUs one-by-one and via 4G from the traffic control centre of the MCC urban rail system.
Russia: It is planned to certify the ES104 electric train in 2023, which will be an analogue of Lastochkas of the ES2G series, as well as to approve the ES105 bi-mode EMU which will replace the ES1P model.
