Malaysia: The rolling stock arrived from China at the end of last year, following a full cycle of tests at the manufacturer’s plant in Dalian. Now, one electric locomotive and two six-car trainsets are due to cover 8,000 km of test running.
Malaysia: Since late August, two six-car Class 94 ETS3 trains have been in commercial service on the 1,000 mm line connecting Kuala Lumpur and Johor. With a maximum speed of 140 km/h, the new rolling stock covers the 285 km route in 3.5 hours.
