Passenger operators from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania—Elron, Vivi (AS Pasazieru vilciens) and LTG Link—have issued a joint framework tender for up to 20 EMUs.
Estonia: The first two three-car Škoda Group EMUs entered passenger service last week, operating between Tallinn and Kloogaranna.
Estonia: Märt Ehrenpreis, the Chief Technology Officer at the passenger operator Elron, reported to the media that a 6,000 km trial operation is scheduled to begin in July.
Czechia: The three-car trainset was assembled at the Skoda production plant in Ostrava, Czechia, and shipped to another plant in Pilsen for testing on a nearly one km test track.
