France: The fleet of four five-car TW20 trams has entered revenue service on the 17 km T1 line. All 37 trams ordered for the line are expected to start running by August 2025.
Paris: RATP, the Paris public transport operator, and TSO, an infrastructure maintenance contractor, have signed contracts with Plasser & Theurer and Scheuchzer.
France: Following the results of the tender, the Paris public transport administration, RATP, has placed an order with the Swiss manufacturer for 12 locomotives powered by third rail and batteries.
France: To date, Alstom has already delivered 6 five-car TW20 trams to the Paris transport operator, RATP.
Czechia: The Spanish manufacturer’s electric locomotive arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre in Czechia.
France: The American manufacturer says that it has used new friction materials in brake pads, which are to reduce particle emissions by 70–90% when braking. The new technology was dubbed Green Friction.
France: Alstom’s La Rochelle plant has handed over the TW20 model to RATP, the Paris public transport operator.
France: In September 2022, the second automatic metro line with trains by Siemens was launched in Rennes. Two months later, new rolling stock for Marseille and Île-de-France was unveiled at Alstom’s plant in Petite-Forêt.
