Russia: The issue is dedicated to the key for Transmashholding (TMH) event - the 20th anniversary of the company's foundation.
Since 2002, Transmashholding (TMH) has gone through the consolidation of disparate production sites to the standing as one of the technological leaders in the world rolling stock market.
Russia: Present-day challenges make performance improvement a prerequisite for ensuring the sustainability of mechanical engineering businesses. STM has been implementing such a program for a few years now.
Kazakhstan: Together with the production site, the manufacturer will receive an order for 500 units of rolling stock. The financial aspects of the deal are now being discussed, although the tender has been going on since 2020.
The manufacturer said that its specialists have already begun work. Earlier, the authorities of the LPR reported that the Russian company would organize production at the Stakhanov Railway Car Building Works.
EU: In 2021, the REUSE project by UIC to stimulate the railway equipment recycling was finalized. In turn, manufacturers are increasingly indicating the share of materials in the rolling stock that are recyclable.
Russia: 20 startups became the winners of the TMH: New Vision acceleration program, a joint project of Transmashholding (TMH) and the Skolkovo Foundation.
