USA: The 53,000m² facility in the centre of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, was sold to the local company Wilmerding Warehouse for $1.3m at the end of 2023.
The company recently announced that it had produced its 150,000th 3D-printed part. Aurelien Fussel, head of additive manufacturing at Alstom, who has been leading development in this field for eight years, talked about the possibilities and prospects of 3D printing.
India: The company is targeting an output of over 1,000 railcars per month this financial year.
Russia: The digital twin reproduces the operation of the 12,000 m2 workshop and helps to select the best option for its future reconstruction.
Germany: The annual locomotive production is planned to increase from the current 40 to 100 units in 2025 and up to 160 units in 2026.
