Türkiye: The national manufacturer has released a video with a 3D model of the train showing the driver’s cab, interiors of various cars and a bistro car.
Last week, Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced that the assembly of the prototype EMU would commence in the last quarter of 2024, while its dynamic testing is scheduled for the end of 2025.
Türasaş has initially developed the platform for operation at a speed of 160 km/h. Now, its design will be modified and an upgraded motor will be incorporated to allow the train to operate at the desired speed of 225 km/h.
