USA: Dallas Area Rapid Transit has launched eight Stadler FLIRT DMUs on the Silver Line, a 42-kilometre route with ten stations connecting seven communities to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
Stadler secured a $119 mln contract for train supply in 2019, followed a year later by a $112 mln supplemental agreement covering a 15-year maintenance and depot construction. The rolling stock was assembled at Stadler’s Salt Lake City facility.
