Germany: The 2 two-car battery-electric trains have been transporting workers of the components and electric car plant in Berlin-Brandenburg since 7 August. The vehicles run in multiple as a single BEMU.

The five km route, acquired by Tesla last autumn, links the plant and the terminus of Berlin S-Bahn. Previously, it was operated by two Talent DMUs from Bombardier Transportation.
