Russia: A video about the new train has been posted by the national operator in its Telegram channel.
The Aurora has been showcased at the Olympic Park railway station in the Krasnodar Krai, a region in Southern Russia.
The first Aurora, a branded express train, was operating on the route between Moscow and St. Petersburg from 1963 to 2010. The passenger service revival was announced in June, and the first trip is scheduled for 19 December.
The new train will consist of 15 double-deck coaches hauled by the EP2K electric locomotive with a renewed exterior design. The rolling stock is of TMH’s production, with the locomotive manufactured at the TMH plant in Kolomna, and the coaches produced by the TMH plant in Tver.

As it was reported in June, the trainset would include first-class couchette coaches, standard sitting coaches and business-class coaches with improved seating arrangement, a staff carriage with seats for passengers with reduced mobility, and a buffet carriage. The coaches are equipped with new 20 tf bogies.
