Poland: The production moved from Stadler’s site in Fanipol to Siedlce in Poland due to the sanctions pressure on Belarus.
Germany: The producers have won a tender from DB Fernverkehr. Once the development of the two concepts is completed, a further tender for the production of the first batch of trains is expected to be announced.
Russia: The contract was published on the state procurement website. According to it, 385 cars to compose 11-car trains are to be delivered in 2022-2025.
Poland: The company presented the concepts of Premium high-speed trains, biodiesel modification of Regio 160 trains, and also announced work on a new generation of Gama2 locomotives.
USA: The operator presented two seven-car trains manufactured at the Stadler plant in Salt Lake City. It is planned that 19 such trains will be put into operation on the San Francisco-San Jose line in 2024.
Russia: The plant has prepared a development plan, which should allow to increase the new electric trains as well as high-speed trains production by more than 35%.
Switzerland: At the end of October, the narrow-gauge RhB operator ran a 1.9 km train on a 25 km route in the Alps with a grade of up to 35‰. The achievement was recorded by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records.
Germany: Alstom, Hitachi Rail, Siemens Mobility, Stadler and a number of other players unveiled their trains. At the same time, new solutions of locomotive-hauled passenger coaches were presented by Deutsche Bahn.
