China: Last week, the train, named Starlight Yanzhao, transported its first passengers from Beijing to Chengde.

The rolling stock was manufactured at the CRRC plant in Tangshan. It is a joint project between the Chinese manufacturer, the tourism company China Tourism Group, and the operator CR Beijing, part of the national China Railway offering passenger services in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province.

The train, with a total capacity of 216 people, includes four seated coaches with massage chairs, a dining coach, a coach with panoramic windows, and a multifunctional coach. The latter two are equipped with seats that can rotate 180°. The windows are covered with UV-protective tinted film. The train also features two compartments with private bathrooms.

The coaches offer enhanced sound insulation. In addition, the train is equipped with emergency medical equipment and has anti-slip flooring.
