USA: The video was published by Siemens Mobility on its social networks. It shows the preliminary renderings of the first- and second-class interiors and the bar car. The interior is designed with the idea that the trains will carry passengers to one of the largest entertainment centres in the world.
This spring, the passenger operator Brightline West ordered 10 seven-car EMUs with a design speed of 354 km/h from the German manufacturer. They’ll be built on the promising Velaro Novo platform, which is said to be 15% lighter and up to 30% more energy efficient compared to the one of the previous generations.

The assembly of the first trainset is to begin in 2026 at Siemens’ new facility in Horseheads, New York. All the ordered EMUs are to be ready for the launch of a 350 km high-speed mainline in 2028.
