Denmark: Swedish design agency Propeller has released a rendering of the future four-car trains.
The video gives a detailed view of the interior, including fixed and tip-up seats, passenger information displays, handrails and automatic doors.
The first trains are expected to enter passenger service under driverless operation on the line between Copenhagen and Hellerup in 2032, with full driverless operation across Copenhagen’s 170 km S-tog network due to be rolled out by 2040.

National operator DSB selected the consortium to supply 226 EMUs earlier this year. The four-car low-floor trains will have a maximum speed of 120 km/h. Each 56 m-long train will have 156 seats and space for 16 bicycles, together with areas for passengers with reduced mobility.
