Russia: PC Transport Systems (PC TS) has released a detailed video showing the production stages of the three-section low-floor 71-931M Vityaz-M trams for Saratov. It covers body assembly, painting, and electrical equipment installation.
The manufacturer uses sites in three cities for tram production. Bodies are built at the Engels plant, major assembly takes place in Tver, and final assembly in St Petersburg. The company previously announced investments of more than RUB 2.3 bln ($30 mln) of its own funds in production capacity and import substitution between 2022 and 2024, achieving 98% localisation.

In February, PC TS reported output of 180 tram vehicles in 2025 (-10% on the record high). According to the company’s spokesman, they expect to maintain 2025 volumes in 2026.
