Russia: The mock-up is presented at the plant’s display at the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s exhibition stand at INNOPROM. The Ust-Katav Car-Building Plant, UKCP, says it is designed primarily for tourist routes with dense passenger traffic.

According to the design specifications, the tram will feature two two-axle bogies with a 1,800 mm wheelbase, each equipped with four 72 kW motors. The vehicle’s dimensions are planned at 16.8 m in length and 5.4 m in height – approximately 1.5–1.7 m taller than UKCP’s current low-floor tram models.

The concept of a double-decker tram was first announced in 2022 by Roscosmos, the state corporation that includes UKCP. The project was discussed at INNOPROM last year, with potential deliveries to Moscow under consideration. Currently, double-decker trams are manufactured in Hong Kong, while CRRC of China produces tourist-oriented models.
