Japan — Mitsubishi has supplied an additional 12 five-car Series 330 trains to the country’s capital. The rubber-tyred trains replace 16 Series 300 vehicles that have been in operation since the NTL automated line, was opened in 1980. This brings the total number of Mitsubishi trains of this series supplied to Tokyo to three.
Canada — CAF, Hyundai Rotem and Siemens Mobility have been qualified for a tender to supply of up to 53 high-floor trams to Edmonton. The city expects to sign a contract in the end of 2025, with the deliveries in 2028–2029.
Russia — Yekaterinburg plans to purchase 50 trams this year, as reported by the city’s mayor Aleksey Orlov. According to him, a tender for 15 trams will be announced by the end of March, and another tender for 35 trams by the end of the year. In 2024, the city acquired a single-car Lvyonok from PC TS and a three-car Kastor from UKCP.

Russia — Cherepovets has announced a tender for 12 single-car low-floor trams. The starting price for a 5-year lease is more than RUB 1.7 bln ($19.3 mln). The trams, which are to be delivered by the end of this year, are expected to have a design speed of 75 km/h, carry up to 150 passengers and be ready run in multiple up to two. The winner will be announced on 5 March. In 2023, the city received eight Lvyonok single-car trams from PC TS.

Ukraine — Tatra-Yug has been ordered five three-car K1T306 trams for Dnipro. The contract with the city operator is worth €8.5 mln (or €1.7 mln per tram) and provides for vehicles with a capacity of 260 passengers. Deliveries are expected later this year. Last November, the tram builder won a tender for five low-floor trams to Kyiv.
