Russia: As Delovoy Petersburg media quotes a presentation by Andrey Stepnov, CEO of the TMH plant in Mytishchi, which he gave at SPbTransportFest, an international transport festival in St Petersburg.
The presentation unveils that a concept for Baltiets 2 has been developed, taking into account the requiremen`ts for autonomy and the wishes of the train operator. The upgrade includes a drive, a driver’s control panel, control units of doors and a traction converter, and connecting elements (relays, connectors, terminals) in patch panels and car control units.

To date, 168 cars (21 trainsets) have been delivered under a contract signed with TMH for 950 Baltiets cars in various modifications for the St Petersburg metro in 2022.
