Netherlands: The low-floor tram has been delivered to the city operator HTM. Testing of the bi-directional vehicle will commence shortly, with entry into service expected in 2026.

The three-section trams, each 36.5 m long, can accommodate 237 passengers. The interior features 84 seats, including 16 fold-down seats. The driver’s cab is equipped with an assistance system. It is claimed that thanks to a rooftop battery that stores energy from regenerative braking, the tram consumes 25% less electricity.

HTM ordered 62 TINA trams from Stadler in 2022 and 2024. There is an option for a further 38 units. This is Stadler’s first contract for tram deliveries in the Netherlands, and HTM is the largest customer of the TINA model worldwide. Production is established at Stadler’s plant in Siedlce, Poland. The new fleet will replace three-section GTL8 trams manufactured by Belgian company BN between 1981 and 1993.
