Slovakia: The country capital received Škoda’s last five-car bidirectional ForCity Plus 30T from a 10-unit batch worth €26.5 mln, ordered in May 2022.
Currently, particular trams are undergoing tests without passengers on the city streets, with each vehicle expected to cover a distance of 200 km. The launch will follow the end of the testing.
The ForCity Plus 30T is 32.5 m long and has five cars on four bogies. The 92% low floor model can accommodate 242 passengers, 52 of which are seated. The maximum speed of the tram is limited to 65 km/h.
There are 30 vehicles of this model operating in Bratislava, with the newly supplied featuring a renewed nose. In 2023, the city started trials of 30 ForCity Plus 29T3 trams worth €72, ordered from Škoda Group in March 2022.
