Australia: The full-scale head car mock-up represents a passenger interior with several types of seats and areas for wheelchairs and bicycles.

The mock-up is reportedly on display for everyone to see it and leave a comment on their experience with the interior. The received opinions may be used to make changes to the final design. It is expected that the first trains will be launched from late January.

The line on track for launch late in 2026 is to connect St Marys railway station and future Western Sydney International Airport. The 2022 contract envisages a consortium with Siemens Mobility, whose part is €900 mln, to equip and operate the line. The German manufacturer is to supply 12 trains, platform doors, and different systems and ensure their maintenance for 15 years.
