Poland: This news was spread by Marcin Grzyb, the company’s LRV Sales Director.
Last year, he spoke at the conference Tramwaje – nowoczesne technologie (Polish for Trams and New Technologies) and the report of his speech was published by Raport Kolejowy. Work on the new platform was first announced by Pesa at InnoTrans 2024.

In addition to the diagnostic system, the trams will be fitted with lidars and cameras, which will be combined to form a collision avoidance system capable of detecting objects at a distance of 80 m. To reduce noise levels, Pesa will use dampers and dispense with heaters in the passenger compartment.
