Recent deals and tenders in the urban rail transport market.
Russia: A tour of the TMH plant took place during a press trip for media representatives ahead of the INNOPROM. Central Asia exhibition. ROLLINGSTOCK captured most stages in the production of the new rolling stock.
Türkiye: A joint venture of the operator Metro Istanbul and the Istanbul Rail System Department is implementing the relevant project. The first TRAM34 LRV has already rolled out of the Adapazari plant.
Greece: The five-car unit arrived at Sepolia depot in May and is now undergoing a programme of static and dynamic testing ahead of its planned entry into service on Line 1 in July. Three further trains are expected to be delivered by December.
Russia: ROLLINGSTOCK visited the upgraded site and spoke with the depot's chief engineer, Mikhail Filatov, about the results of the first phase of reconstruction and plans to introduce a system for automatic stabling of trams.
Austria: The five-section tram began carrying passengers in the city on 27 May.
Czech Republic: The project is being run by AŽD Praha, a company specialising in signalling and automatic train operation technology.
The largest industrial trade fair in the Eurasian region will be held for the 16th time on 6–9 July. This year's INNOPROM partner country is Indonesia.
Bulgaria: Four trainsets have been carrying passengers on Lines 1, 2 and 4 since 26 May. Seven of these four-car trains have now reached the Bulgarian capital, and the eighth is due in June.
