Russia: TMH’s developing production facilities, digitisation in the holding, new Baltiets train, TMH Electrotech’s modern motors, etc. in the new issue.
Russia: The low-floor tram has refurbished exterior and interior when compared to the 71-415 model. It is claimed that all components are solely of domestic production.
Bulgaria: Half of the 16 trains intended to delivery should have automation compatible with previously installed Russian systems, however there are EU sanctions imposed on purchases from Russia.
Türkiye: In January, two unmanned lines were launched in Türkiye’s capital: M8 and a part of M11. Both operate at the highest grade of automation, GoA4.
Russia: Presentation of a two-cab three-section tram took place at the Nevsky Electric Transport Plant. In the near future, the first vehicle of this model will be supplied to the city and additional 37 such trams will be delivered by autumn.
UK: In January the passenger railway operator TfW put into operation the diesel FLIRT train on the Rhymney – Penarth line, and a new generation of city trains, IPEMU, entered service in the Liverpool City Region.
France: In September 2022, the second automatic metro line with trains by Siemens was launched in Rennes. Two months later, new rolling stock for Marseille and Île-de-France was unveiled at Alstom’s plant in Petite-Forêt.
Russia: According to an additional agreement to the contract of 2020, the Russian capital’s metro will receive 500+ metro cars between 2024–2025.
Czech Republic: A quarter of a century ago, the first tram car by Skoda Group, Astra, left the factory in Plzen. Its current portfolio includes 475 LRVs in 13 cities in 4 European countries, with options under existing contracts.
