Australia: Recently, a six-car trainset was delivered to a depot in Newport for trial operation in 2025.
Italy: A six-car train was presented to Eugenio Patané, the Italian capital’s Councillor for Mobility, during his visit to a plant in Reggio Calabria.
Germany: The three-car bidirectional tram has commenced passenger service on Line 61 of 8.7 km. Initially, it was to be launched in 2022, but the first LRV arrived in the German city only in March 2023.
China: A fleet of 16 such cars has rolled off the production line at the Chinese manufacturer’s site in that same city.
France: The fleet of four five-car TW20 trams has entered revenue service on the 17 km T1 line. All 37 trams ordered for the line are expected to start running by August 2025.
Russia: The Ust-Katav Car-building Plant has won the city of Yekaterinburg’s tender for the delivery of one three-car low-floor tram, as ROLLINGSTOCK knew from Roman Novikov, UKCP’s General Director.
China: At the end of October, the first four-car train began commercial service on a section of Line 4 of the city's metro network. The entire 70 km line and the fleet of 18 such trains will enter service in 2026.
Saudi Arabia: The capital’s network encompasses six lines spanning for 176 km and connecting 85 stations.
Greece: A fleet of 18 four-car Hitachi Rail trains has started commercial service on a 9.6 km line in Thessaloniki.
